Key Dates

Terms and Conditions

1. To participate in the Competition, the Participant agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. To participate in the Competition, you must submit an Entry Form during the Competition Period, found on our website.
3. The Participant may only enter the Competition once during the Competition Period.
4. The Participant agrees to display the supplied signage from LJ Hooker Yarrabilba Property Complete for the purposes of this competition and to identify their entry respectively. The Participant agrees that the signage must not in any way be tampered with, altered or intentionally/maliciously damaged and to display the signage in a clear and visible way.
5. The Participant agrees to display the supplied signage for the entire duration of the competition period (01/11/2024 – 15/12/2024)
6. The Participant agrees to return the signage to LJ Hooker Yarrabilba Property Complete by 22/12/2024.
7. The participant agrees to have their residence/property photographed with the address made public for the purposes of this competition. The participants address will be displayed on the Promoter’s social media platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook and Instagram and on the Promoter’s website. (propertycomplete.ljhooker.com.au)
8. The employees of the Promoter may at their discretion share the Participants entry on their own individual social media platforms, including but not limited to, Facebook & Instagram.
9. The Participant agrees for the Promoter to include their entry in their monthly blog/s and/or newsletters at their discretion.
10. The participant agrees that their entry may be published on the Sponsor’s social media platforms and website/s.
11. The Participant agrees that for the purposes of this competition, a representative from LJ Hooker Property Complete will photograph their property/residence during the period 01/11/2024 – 30/11/2024. The Participant agrees to ensure that their lights will be turned on each night from 5:30pm – 9:30pm during this period.
    
    

Eligibility

1. The competition is only open to Residents of: Yarrabilba, Logan Reserve, Logan Village, Buccan, Park Ridge, Jimboomba, Flagstone and Crestmead.
2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the eligibility of the Eligible Entrants (including an Eligible Entrants identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify an Eligible Entrants if that Eligible Entrant or the Participant does not comply strictly with Terms and Conditions or tampers with the entry process. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its right at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
3. Registrations will open on 01/11/2024 and close at 5.00pm on 30/11/2024. All registrations must be received by LJ Hooker Yarrabilba Property Complete before the beforementioned time and date to be eligible to enter.
   
   

The Prize

1. There will be 3 Prizes consisting of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd
2. The Prize is not transferable, refundable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
3. Each Eligible Entry will be entered into the Competition.
4. To enter, Eligible Entry must:

• Submit an application form online;
• contain the Participant’s full name, email address and telephone number
• be handed in to participating LJ Hooker Property Complete

5. The Prize winners will be the Participant who submits the best Eligible Entry as determined by an online voting system. The Prize winner will be announced on 15th December 2024.
6. The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to notify the Prize winner by telephone or Email.
7. If despite reasonable efforts the Promoter is unable to locate or contact the Prize winner within one week after the Prize winner is decided, another Prize winner will be selected and any subsequent winner will be notified in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
8. The Promoter may, but is not obliged to, publish the results of the Competition. By entering into this Competition the Participant gives their consent for their personal details and the personal details be published if they are a winner.
9. A Participant claiming to be the Prize winner will be required to provide proof of identity.
10. The Promoter’s decision as to the winner of the Prize is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to the conduct of the Competition or otherwise.
11. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility or liability for any variation in the value of the prize.
    
    

General Terms

1. The Promoter and/or Sponsor Entities shall not be liable (including, without limitation, in negligence) for:

• any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss); or
• any personal injury suffered or during the course of participating in this Competition, except for and to the extent that any liability cannot be excluded by law.

2. The Participant indemnifies and keeps indemnified, the Promoter Entities against all claims, losses, damages, costs, and expenses suffered or incurred by the Promoter Entities or any third parties arising out of the breach of these Terms and Conditions by the Participant, the conduct of the Participant in the Competition, or the use by the Participant of the Prize.
3. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law and subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority (if any) to:

• disqualify any participant; and/or
• modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition as appropriate

Privacy

1. Under the Privacy Act 1998 (Cth), the promoter must tell Participants when it collects personal information about the Participant and how it plans to use it. If a Participant allows to enter or take part in the Competition, the Participant will be required to provide the Promoter with personal information about themselves such as the Participant’s name, email address and telephone number.
2. The Promoter will collect and use the personal information which the Participant has provided about the Participant for the purpose of carrying out the Competition.
3. If a participant would prefer that the Promoter does not use the Participant’s details in the way outlined in these Terms and Conditions and/or retain their details, the Participant should contact the Promoter on 1300 360 388
4. A Participant has the right to access most personal information which the Promoter holds about the participant. A Participant may contact the Promoter on 1300 360 388 to ask for access to the Participants’ information, or it the Participant has a complaint concerning a Participant’s information privacy. The Promoter may deny the Participant’s request for access in some circumstances. If the Promoter does this, it will tell the Participant why.
5. If a Participant considers that any information that the promoter holds about the Participant is inaccurate or if at any time the Participant’s details change the Participant may contact the Promoter on 1300 360 388 and the promoter will take reasonable steps to ensure that such information is correct.
6. The Promoter will take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure from misuse, loss or unauthorised use or disclosure.
   
   

Definitions

“Entry Form” means the official Christmas Lights Entry Form for the competition:

“Competition” means the opportunity to be selected as the winner of the Prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

“Competition Period” means the period from 12.00am 1^st November 2024 to midnight 14^th of December 2024

“Eligible Entrant” means an entrant who:

• Is a Yarrabilba, Logan Reserve, Logan Village, Buccan, Park Ridge, Jimboomba, Flagstone and Crestmead resident.
• Submits an Eligible Entry.

“Non Eligible Person”

• owners of participating office
• the employees of participating offices
  
  “Prize” means
• First Prize – $1,000.00 in cash
• Second Prize - $500.00 in cash
• Third Prize – $250.00 in cash

“Promoter” means TJI Realty Pty Ltd abn 37 516 638 117 of Level 1/32 Everglade Street, Yarrabilba as owner of LJ Hooker Property Complete.

“Sponsor” means McGuire Hotel Group for Logan Village Hotel, Yarrabilba Hotel and Bendigo Bank
